I desperately need some reference photos of the interior of Sneaky Dee's. The restaurant part, not the stage part. There are a million photos on the internet of bands playing or kids dancing or whatever, but I have yet to find a good source of photos of the booths and the bar and the pool tables on the main floor.
Anyone who can help me out (to my satisfaction) will get special prizes! Like if you've got some photos you've taken in the bar or you are going there like this week or something and have a camera. I particularly need the booths on the left side, maybe the bar, maybe that weird painted ceiling, and just general shots from various angles.
Note: if you've never been to this place and you don't live in Toronto, I appreciate your googling but I don't expect much.

Hey guys, if you live in Toronto or will be there soon or are just really good at google/flickr/etc, here are some things I potentially will need general reference photos of for Scott Pilgrim 4 (it's still in rough draft, so some of these scenes may get deleted, possibly hinging on the kind of reference I find!).
* Dufferin Mall (exteriors, interiors, food court)
* Sneaky Dee's (exterior, interior, booths, etc)
* College & Bathurst area (restaurants, etc, on College)
I have visitors this week so I might be slow to respond, but I will greatly treasure any input you give me.
Reference Quest #1 is here (I have pretty much everything I need from it, but more can't hurt.)

PART 2
Hope Larson has a comic strip in the New York Times tomorrow, Friday August 4th! It's almost a full page and should be in the Op/Ed section. I think you won't be able to miss it. Check it out! (I used to date Hope Larson, but now we just share a house with some cats. And we're married and stuff.)

I didn't get a chance to shoot the kind of reference I needed while in Toronto last time, so I'm going to put out a few requests as I write the script for Scott Pilgrim 4. This is the first one.
Toronto peeps! If you or anyone you know is going to the Beach (sometimes called "the beaches") anytime soon, I'm looking for general reference of the following things:
I'm not TOO worried about having seamless reference, I just want the general idea. Colour photos would probably help. Crowds in every shot are fine (and probably unavoidable) -- this book is set in summertime and I'll have to draw crowds anyway.
If you think you can help, comment here or email me. Thanks! No rush, I'm just putting word out as I think about it, and I'll post reminders as I proceed.

- shots of the beach itself, from various angles (maybe while standing by the water)
- shots of houses on the side streets leading from the main drag to the beach (I know there are some nice older houses along here and I would like a selection of them so I can use one for an exterior)
- shots of the main drag, north side especially -- the Licks burger and other shops in that area
