What do you guys want as stickers?

so far i'm thinking
1) Scott Pilgrim logo
2) Scott's insane smiling disembodied head
3) and... kim?

i can probably fit 5 or 6 stickers on a sheet, depending on how big each sticker is. maybe more if we do some littler ones.

your thoughts?

certain panels? dialogue? characters? concepts?

i haven't come up with a good sex bob-omb shirt yet, but i'll keep trying when i have a few free minutes.

I am taking a survey of how people are getting the book, especially to find out roughly how many people are planning to order from me directly. If you are planning to borrow the book, that is totally fine; please just answer truthfully!

Also, the old standby "I want to get it, but I have no money" isn't a choice. If that's your answer, you should think about going to your local library, because libraries are awesome.

PS. Publishers Weekly printed a review of Volume 3 today, which I have posted on the Scott Pilgrim LiveJournal Community.

i have to think about this now

What do you guys want to see on Scott Pilgrim t-shirts?

Just toss those ideas out here. Let's go.

I later plan to consult with the geniuses R. Stevens, J. Rowland & associates, but I'd like to get some general ideas of "fan demand". And if you see someone else post an idea you like, chime in on that.

I wish volume 3 was out. I feel like i'm going to be approaching it as freshly and eagerly as my readers are, which I guess is a good thing. (i promised not to look at it until it is printed, which so far I've stuck to.) oh my god what if it sucks i hope it doesn't suck

Oh hey when I say "t-shirts" i am including ladies' shirts, tank tops, etc. Maybe hot pants? I only wear American Apparel now, so it would definitely be that. And I think in terms of sizes we would have to skew small, since the fanbase is all skinny crybabies. Jeff had also said something about miniskirts, but maybe he was just drunk.

After finishing volume 3, I've done about 550 pages of Scott Pilgrim.

I have a question for everyone, so if you read this take a second and post a reply. How did you first come to read Scott Pilgrim? Did a friend force you to look at it? Did you read a good review? Did you just see it on the shelf?

If you want to, you can also mention where you got it, whether online or at a big bookstore or just at your local comic shop. (Especially if you got it at the comic shop, really, because I should be doing more retailer outreach...)

And of course if you don't own either of the books, I'm not mad at you! I know a lot of people seem to lend them out to friends like crazy, and that's a huge portion of the audience right there. If you're looking forward to Volume 3, and you don't own 1 or 2, I think that's magically awesome.

i'm back on the internet~

i'm planning to get an LCD monitor next week. any tips? My eye is on the Dell UltraSharp 1905FP. i want to go up to the 19 inches because it would be nice, and easier on the eyes, i think? that one seems to be the best reviewed, and ... that's really one of my only reasons for wanting it. and locke has two Dell LCDs and said they were good. but those are better reasons for buying something than "because i drew it for a magazine", which I was going to do -- this ViewSonic thingy that I actually drew for a magazine recently. But I read some more reviews of it today, and it doesn't seem that great.

the only problem with Dell is that the only place to get it seems to be dell.ca, and they seem a trifle overpriced. plus their shipping is like "1-2 weeks" so... what? lame.

anyway, any tips? yeah... whatever.

my studio is super yellow. orange-juice-orange. school bus yellow. tangerine! sorta. i'll take some more pictures eventually. it's been pretty slow getting stuff in order and there's a lot more to be done.

i can't even comprehend the amounts of money that we've spent in the past week. it's only been a WEEK!
