yeah, really i drew the cover of Vol 1 before I drew any pages, so it was a prototype design. The new version has a jacket that more accurately reflects what he wears in the comic. The original nose had a bit more of a hump to it also, as well as the obvious differences with the eyes and hair.
well as long as you don't go back and redraw the first volume, I think I can deal with the changes ;) But it's definately interesting seeing the evolution of your art, sorry for the impromptu image posting without your permission but I wanted to see what they looked like side by side. But are we talking about small kid standup size? Cause when I see that picture I think of This Page for some reason, and hey a full sized standup would be cool and imposing.
But on the other hand, if you're happy and afraid of ruining it, it's understandable. I get that feeling everytime I put pen to paper.
I shall second the opinion that FREE SCOTT PILGRIM was awesome! But then, I was reading it at a party whilst drinking, so it's all kind of a blur to me? WILL +3!!!

I can agree to that... The difference is obvious, then again three books later and you should be able to copy the mona lisa :)
And yes, that will make a kickass stand, but it really needs to have the legs.
