kitties

Pinup for Jim Rugg's Street Angel. I am trying to give people this totally eroneous impression of the book, which does not feature either of the animals I drew. The fox guy is someone I just made up today, and the dog is the Littlest Hobo from canadian TV when i was a little kid. I'm not sure why I'm doing this, but I follow my erstwhile muse.

Wicked. Street Angel RULES.

Some Canadian pals made me download the theme song to the Littlest Hobo. Didn't do anything for me. Plus, I totally thought it was about a midget at the time.

(Let's pretend I said 'little person'...that woulda been better)

I still get a little misty when I hear that song. It's so melancholy.

That's awesome. The main character looks like my friend John Green.
That's how he used to draw himself back in college :)

Street Angel is a 13 year old GIRL! But she's from the Street, so she's Dirty.

The only way that could be cooler is if there was a squid in it someplace.

Ahh, Street Angel. Good shit, that. Nice job on this pic as well.

I can picture the little fox guy and Bald Eagle getting into a mano e mano back alley brawl.

Jesus. As soon as I read "Littlest Hobo" I got this weird feeling that you can only get when you remember watching something that dull and enjoying it. What a grand show indeed.

He wore a bandanna sometimes right... or he had some sort of handkerchief package on a stick? I was always wondered how he tied the knot.

no no. in episode 92, that little girl who befriended him tied a bandana around his neck, so that he'd always remember her, and the gag lasted for the next six episodes... but then littlest hobo number 18 died prematurely (some sorta heart worm), so there was no obligation for the new hobo to carry on the joke. hee hee hee. nerd-factoids.
