Oh, balls. I can't choose! I was trying to choose earlier, to figure out which I wanted to get signed, but I don't know. I suppose I will pick the one I decided on, Vol. 3. Because Envy Adams is hot. And there are hilarious vegan powers, existential chaos, and a deus ex machina. Among other things. But I can't really choose! Stupid radio buttons.

It's way too early in the morning for such hard choices.

I think the odd numbered ones have been my favourites. I really liked volume 3; the flasbacks and the return of Crash & the Boys and some other awesome stuff. But I liked very much how things really _changed_ in volume 5 and got kind of serious and stuff. Oh I SO look forward to reading the concludning volume when it's finished omg omg omg!!!

really it's almost a tie between 1,2 and 4 I think.

1 has such a special place in my heart, but I went with 5. The visual storytelling really shines hardcore in that one. Also, it's the Empire Strikes Back of the series!

No way. SP2 is the Empire Strikes Back.

SP1/EpIV=Solid, self-contained story.
SP2/EpV=Character development-driven story.
SP3/EpVI=All action, all the time.

SP 4 and 5 are Star Wars reference free kind of win.

i absolutely loved volume 3. I think it was because it was the first that really took a darker turn for things, after i was so used to the pretty goofy nature of the first two books. I also loved the style of volume 3, it really showed how into the groove of things you were and showed the momentum you would keep for the years to come.

Also, you bringing back Crash and the Boys was just absolutely awesome, and i loved the vegan ideas you came up with.

plus, i think i remember you posting the back cover for volume 3 on gingerbox, back when you posted, haha. I guess it was cool seeing volume 3 and being like "i remember this!!"

I went with V3. It's my least favorite drawing-wise
but it contains more scenes that elicit chuckles
in the mere recollection (e.g., race through Honest Ed's).

Which is not to say I don't like the later volumes. I just thought the vegan police and the Envy drama was the best stuff overall.

It was hard to choose between 2 and 3, but ultimately 2 won because of the recipe (which was yummy, thanks!).

1 and 4 are my favorites.
although, 3 had the funniest gags, i think.
if you knew the science... LOL

I like 4 the best. 1 and 5 are both tied for second though

I am in the majority and this pleases me.

weird. 2 is totally my favorite.

2 used to be my favorite too

but i gotta pick the newest one :|

I find it odd that even though it got the harshest criticism, Vol. 3 is stomping books 1 & 2 in this poll.

I like 1 a hair better than 2, but it's close.

I picked 2 as the clear favourite, surprised it's at the bottom. I'd go 2-4-5-1-3 in order of favouriteness.

I voted for 5 without thinking. Now I wish I'd voted for 3. ;_; It was so great... but 5 was amazing, too... in that lead-up-to-the-ending tease sort of way. But 3, where all the awesome stuff that hadn't quite solidified yet started falling apart and... I just loved all the Envy stuff, and...

I LOVE SCOTT PILGRIM SO MUCH!!! ♥♥♥

I've always really loved three. And I'm pretty sure it's because of Envy. I just love bitchy villains.

I chose 5 because of the cliff hanger at the end *-*;

I voted three because it was packed with a bit denser story. The last half of volume 2 really reads like it should be a part of 3 with the whole Envy storyline spanning both books.
In a way, 2+3 are sort of like Star Trek II - IV; while they are distinct parts, they're also part of the same story arc. (But volume 4 is definitely not Star Trek V!)

Nothing in any of the other books has, so far, matched the Honest Ed's sequence. It was blistering fire of comedy gold.

i love the visual style of volumes 1-3. They're so loose & natural. They seems like real characters as opposed to icons of characters. Loves it.

2 was a really great one
but 4 makes me really happy and hopeful

Vol 4 was when the art became more realistic and stylish and better, and it had Lisa Miller and that whole thing which was great, and it was the last time when everyone was friends. In the very end of Vol 4, they're all at the restaurant together having a good time (Scott's drinking beer!) and they were all friends. When number 5 comes around, Stills randomly tells Knives that Scott cheated on her (?), Young Neil is an asshole because Sex-Bob-Omb doesn't practice there anymore, Ramona's bitchy level hits maximum power (Wave Race!), Stills and Knives are going out (Stills looks miserable for good reason), Wallace is only in there twice and he seems to be fully with Mobile now, then Ramona leaves Scott over something Knives told her, then Kim goes home. This hearty group of friends is destroyed! Vol 4 FTW

I loved all 5 so far! The only reason why I selected vol.05 as my favourite was because of the foil cover! XD

I love Vol. 4! I have read it many many times, whereas the others I've only read once or twice.

Cool, I guess most people agree with me.
I love Vol. 4
I think I mainly like it because it shows Scott growing up - I admit I didn't really like Scott very much until Vol. 4 and I didn't like Ramona until Vol. 5 - I couldn't really sympathise with either of them really until then because they both seemed a bit selfish and they both cheated on boy/girlfriends. And Ramona's mysterious ways kind of bugged me until I saw her insecure side in Vol. 5
I also love the coloured bit in Vol. 4 :)
I have loved the books from Vol. 1 though because I love the comedy, the drawings, and all the other characters even if I didn't like the main ones so much. Wallace is my favourite :D
I'm so excited for Vol. 6!! XD
I just remembered Knives! Oh my God she's amazing!!

"Gets it Together?" Seriously, people? I liked vol. 4 but it was the least epic. I want epic.

If I'd known #4 would be the runaway winner I'd have picked #5! Haha.
