SP5_Solicit_cover_A

I re-drew the cover image for Vs The Universe a little while back and have been waiting until solicits to show it off. I guess it hit Previews this week (that's the catalogue where comic stores order their stuff), so here it is. FINAL.

There is still one special thing about the cover that I can't tell you, and some special things about the release that are being worked out.

Meanwhile, I will make best efforts to finish the insides of the damn thing.

Wow, comparing the two covers they look like completely different people. Still a good choice for this one, feels very Kingdom Heartsy, which is neat.

I liked the bad-assedness of the first drawing, but this is a far more heroic-lookin' cover. Love it!

"SP5_Solicit_cover_A" makes me suspicious that the special thing about the cover is that there is also a cover_B and I will be finally be sent over the brink into financial insolvency. D:

don't be sucked in by comics jargon. this was just my own internal nomenclature. "B" was a slightly smaller version of the same image; I was debating over which one to upload.

the idea is to get the last book released right before the movie gets released... but of course, that's all very vague conjecture at this point.

mostly just to reflect the changing style and ramona's evolving look in the book. The earlier cover design was done before i really got going on the interior pages.
