I just realized you can vote in the Shuster Awards (if you're Canadian). I'm up for "best cartoonist", and I wouldn't want to tell all of my Canadian readers to rush out and vote for me, but, uh, I kind of am telling you: go there and vote for me!!! I just think it would be a hilarious upset to defeat my cross-town rival, Darwyn Cooke. (Darwyn is like five hundred thousand times more popular than me, and there's no possible way I could mobilize enough Canadians to beat him. He also drew the poster for the awards, so he kind of has a bit of a leg up. He also won last year.)

Anyway, inform all the Canadians you know (whether they like comics or not) to go to the link and put in their info and vote for me. ME, ME, ME, IT'S ALL ABOUT ME THIS YEAR.

edit: i only listened to jacob songs 47 times last week, but that's evidently because the new Loose Fur and Fiery Furnaces albums leaked. both of them are pretty good, i think.
