* Regarding the San Diego Comic Con MySpace thing from the other day: I'm told it wasn't an officially sanctioned Comic Con site, and whoever put it up has since apparently been reprimanded and has at any rate taken the offending material offline.

* My friend Corey Lewis, bless his ADD-riddled heart, has a new version of his comic DEAD IN THE NOW running on the Zuda comics site this month. I am not supporting his stupid ass until he finishes Sharknife 2, but you all can go right ahead.

* Check out Joe Quinones' series of Scott Pilgrim character drawings. He draws in kind of a more realistic style with a superhero bent, so it's kinda crazy to see his interpretations. Full colour, too. (He's been working on these for a while, but I'm just finally linking because he's just now finished the series.)

* I have a Twitter.

* We are planning to reveal the cover art, full title and release date for SCOTT PILGRIM VOL. 5 at San Diego Comic Con later this month. Details on when, where and how forthcoming (note: I have no idea as yet).

* There is still at least one other item that I will get to reveal about San Diego soonish.

Joe's illustrations are spot on and I love Ramona with the bitchin' hammer of doom.

Looking forward to stopping by your booth at the Con!

Just imagine how crazy it'll be to see living breathing humans portray Scott Pilgrim characters.

SWEET.

I'm working on a SP piece myself and it's super fun.

Aw @ your tough love for C Lewis.

;_____; I WISH I COULD GO TO COMIC-CON. I just got back from Anime Expo!

I too was at Anime Expo, and you know what I was thinking sometimes? "Mal and Scott P DEFINITELY belong here!"

Joe's Ramona looks a bit... butch for my liking. His versions of Knives, Wallace, Scott and Kim are good, with Kim rocking some proper attitude.

I was thinking this too. Also: Wallace looks a lot like quentin tarantino.
That doesn't make them not awesome, just sayin'.

hey comic stores can already make their pre-orders for Sharknife ZZ. which means its gotta be coming soon...right? ...right? oh Reyyy...

i had no clue that Scott Pilgrim 5 was that far in production. you never cease to amaze me Mal.

Are you planning on releasing the cover etc at the panel? I can imagine all the camera flashes ala Steve Jobs right now.

And have you heard about Mega Man 9? I'm assuming you have.
