business cards

The illustration right there: a business card design that I was toying with last fall. I'm still not sure whether or not I need to print up a bunch of these. I guess I might as well have them. They might be good for placating people who are like "do you have a business card", right?

They're good to have around ... if you don't need to hand it out often (I figure a lot of people already know who you are), then ordering once will last you a couple of years.

overnightprints.com is nice and straightforward, and I can attest to the quality ... actually, if you got any business cards with those Mutagenics shirts, those are from that printer.

Hope that helps!

I've used them a bunch for postcards. Will probably do some biz cards, yeah.

By the way, are you going to be selling shirts at any of the summer cons? I've been thinking I should order another lightning shirt... it is my favourite right now and I don't get to wear it enough because it always gets cat hair on it and goes right in the wash.

now that you've revealed that buisnsscards of the omalley persuasion exsist, you put yourself in danger of always running out at every con you visit. I think a lot of people would jump though rings of fire to own a little mini masterpiece like that!

I think probably you have described the precise scenario in which such a thing would become indispensable! When people are not like "do you have a business card", then often the need for business cards diminishes.

Interesting choice to only have e-mail contact, though! When I did Jesse D business cards a couple years ago, I put my phone number on mainly because I was pretty sure anyone could figure out my e-mail address just from googling me, but the phone number was more elite because I had to actually give it to someone.

I guess you probably have greater hordes to protect your privacy from than I do though, eh?

Actually, at the time I designed it we were just about to move, and I had no idea what my address or phone number was.

But still, I don't know that I'd want random people having my cell phone. That'd only work if I gave the card out exclusively to people I really respected, and at the moment I'm thinking of giving it out to people who ask for a business card instead of remembering my name and googling me later, which is kind of the opposite thing.

(sticker guy) - I usually just put my website on it. Emails (and addresses) change, and if they can't figure out contact by way of that, you don't want to be talking to them anyway. Plus, again, they're super multi-useful this way.

I do the same. Just website and email.

If I need to give someone more info (phone #, address, directions to my house) I just write it on the back when I give it to them.

I live in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, have a credit card here, and would certainly be willing to forward something to you. What do you need/would you like? Got a craving for Irn Bru, or something?

Ooh, I like those. And while you're getting stuff from the UK, see if you can get ahold of that "Pepsi Raw" stuff. I'd like to hear how it is.

I like to use small stickers for business cards, cause then you can, you know, stick them on things. And then the people you give them to - they will stick them on things, also, and each time they look, they're all "oh, hey."

That's good. I've always wanted stickers but never bothered finding a place to get them done.

I've been using Contagious Graphics, who are great, but they're mostly for bands and suchlike - consequently they don't always have time to deal with a finicky customer who placed a $5 order on their tiniest stickers, y'know? They're good, though - used them for years.

I've always meant to try out Microcosm's custom stickers (on account of they're the good guys.), which were comparable in pricing, but I guess they're not even doing them anymore - they leave a forwarding link to Diesel Fuel Prints. Never tried them, but any friend of Microcosm's has got to be angels.

Contagious are in Charlotte, which is very close to me, so they're gonna be my guys for sure.

The Japanese demand your business card.

I like it with just the e-mail address, it makes more sense.

Are the Boys and Crash supposed to be wearing hulk hands in scott pilgrim vol 3? Or do they just look like hulk hands in certain panels? Myself and my coworker can't decide.
