Shojo Beat Feb 08

Shojo Beat, March 08, the Art Issue, with my cover and several me-features inside, should be in stores this week!!!

I am working on the second draft of volume 5 and hopefully will start drawing it relatively soon!!!


Edit to add: OMG i just received a box full of Shojo Beats right after posting this. They look really nice. First three lj comments get a freebie shipped from me! Continental U.S. and Canada only! If you win, there may also be a COMICS FESTIVAL with your name on it.

The only comics I have money for anymore are Scott. Which, is why I'm almost thankful that they're basically annual. But then you have to go and do all these siiiiide projects, huh? Guess I'll have to shell out some to get a hold of this~

I've been searching everywhere for it but gave up for the week only to find my friend's sis had a copy in her room. Still gotta find my own copy but atleast I got to read the interview. As a sidenote, my friend got drunk, read the article, and kept screaming "I WANNA BE BLOM! Do you wanna be BLOM,Wes?!" all night because I left it lying around. :D

I saw that at work and thought it was yours!

News: after lots of badgering, Chapters Bayer's Lake now carries copies of Scott Pilgrim volumes 2 & 3! For some reason it looks like we're having problems getting in 1 and 4. The managers don't seem to understand why this happens (apparantly it happens often) so neither do I!

But I'll keep trying! At least we're getting somewhere.

I think it's awesome that the issue you did the cover for had the two chapters of Honey and Clover with the scenes of Mayama carrying Yamada, and the five of them looking for four-leafed clovers. I was not expecting that when I bought it, and was very, very pleased.
