I thought this drawing resembled me (accidentally). It's just a sketch for a thing. Can't talk about it.

Next I will draw some Scott Pilgrim stuff that I can't show you. One day I will even start drawing volume 5.

I also have some new music almost done, but will wait for an appropriate time to poop it out.

I think this makes me entirely useless to the world. Sorry, kids.

Travel plans for 2008! I just posted these on the sidebar at radiomaru.com, and thought I should put them in the blog too.
1. Vermont, early March: Hope Larson and I are visiting the Center for Cartoon Studies. Students only, I think.
2. Calgary, April 26-27: Hope and I will be at the Calgary Expo.
3. New York City, June 7-8: We'll be at the MoCCA Art Fest.
4. San Diego, July 24-27: It's San Diego Comic Con International, and we'll be there on the Friday and Saturday (at least).

Release plans for 2008: Shojo Beat cover in a week or two. We are planning a special "con exclusive" Scott Pilgrim thing - more on that eventually. I am hoping to make hard copies of the new Kupek thing. There also may or may not be a fifth Scott Pilgrim before the end of the year.

The prospect of con-exclusive Scott Pilgrim intrigues me to no end sir. I wouldn't mind it being annotations for 3 and 4 since I already picked up the one for 1 & 2 at TCAF last year. Last year was my first time for San Diego and TCAF and I pretty much immediately decided I have to go to both every year that I can conceivably afford to.

i've been trying to get an overhaul up there for the past six months but it hit beaurocratic limbo three or four times, and now there's a giant block of ugly text on the front page that i didn't put up there. SOMEDAY SOON that website will be TOLERABLE.
