Countdown (actually up), week 2
In honour of Halloween, there is a non-threatening, pastel-colored, silly, cutesy, anime-styled new computer wallpaper now available on scottpilgrim.com!

This one is part of an image that will be the cover of a forthcoming issue of DRAW! Magazine, featuring an interview with me and a bunch of exclusive sketchbook art and whatnot.

It's kinda looking like the book will get delayed until Nov. 14th because of shipping issues, so I'll try and do up this Kim/Wallace wallpaper that I've been thinking about.

I got a first-bound copy of the book yesterday and it is to my liking, so I believe we will share it with you all.

Awesome wallpaper, sucks about the delay, but that's not what I want to ask.

Last two books you had a free-for-all question-thread open on your livejournal, are you going to do that for this book too?

Yes, I am in fact asking a question to ask a question.

There is a thing on the website called a ning, which is like a forum type deal, and on there I have been fielding some questions. But maybe I will do the same on here. I understand that the online forums are not for everyone.

Oh, if that is the case, I'll go there, then. I've signed up and forgotten about it.

Thanks:)

What can I say? The wallpaper looks great.

As for the delay, the nearest Borders is pretty far from where I live and most of the time I end up waiting a week or month more when I preorder it anyway.

i like these new wallpapers. what are you using to ink them? the thin lines give the characters a pretty fresh look.

Faber Castelle "PITT" pen, size S (superfine)... one of my favorites to sketch with, but I have never inked something with them until now. It was fun.

I'm super excited by all the new artwork and website and everything. Vol. 4 looks like it's going to be great! Also, I really like the way your artwork is developing. The new stuff seems a lot looser and more expressive and I quite like it.

I'll have to write a review of it and try to get it printed somewhere.
