And So.
Originally uploaded by radiomaru.
Here is another random, non-spoilery page from Scott Pilgrim Gets It Together.

Next Monday, May 28th, I will debut the cover here. Unless it somehow leaks to the internet between now and then.

What Is Going On With Stuff: I am trying to finish the book. It seems completely impossible.

My Gramps convinced someone from New York that we lived in Igloos once.

He said life was tough because we had to build them 17 stories high. When they asked him why, he said it was because you lose at least six stories in the summer and need a buffer zone.

...

Hi, I'm Andrew, by the way.

After I moved to New York from Texas, I noticed people here actually think 80°F in the shade is hot! Also, they think 60°F is not cold! And it actually SNOWS here in the winter! I can only assume Canada is at least equally as bad as this!

Substantially worse, actually.

My family once convinced some college students in Florida that we used a sled dog team to get to school.

If a Canadian told me this, I would pretend to believe them because I know it would make them happy to think they tricked me.

Isn't one of those books "What is the What?"

Were he on Livejournal, I'm sure Parappa would remind you that You Gotta Believe. I will act in this instance as his proxy.

Also, those outline-less clouds look super neat.

This is great stuff. They people from my local college are excited to see it.

One of them bothers the local comic mart, "You'll let me know when I can pre-order Scott Pilgrim, right?"
"YES ALREADY!"

It's funny because I'm not involved...

Aah, It's nice to see Scott wearing something other than jeans.
Also: Does he REALLY get it together? Within just one book? Sounds pretty unliiikely...

I'm super stoked for the book!

Also, the main reason that I can't imagine moving back to Ontario from Vancouver are the Ontario summers. So gross!

I just re-read SP 1-3, which was a bad idea, as I'm now super-hyped for volume 4. I NEED MY SCOTT PILGRIM FIX NOW... no pressure or anything ;)

Always a treat, Mal. Glad you put these pages up periodically. Maybe I should do the same when I get my ass back on the OGN train I seemed to abandon 8 months ago and halfway through the process... :(

Rock! Good luck on the book! I've been feeding the Scott Pilgrim need among the cartoonists here at school all semester, and you've got at least a half dozen new fans waiting for it!

Can't wait to see the cover!

I'm so excited I could say "I'm so excited!" so I shall, with an exclamation mark and everything.

I'm so excited!

Go Maru! You can do it!! Gogo!

PS. Don't know if you already heard, but the Toronto Reference Library is planning to put together some kind of 30th anniversary booklet. I figured you should definetly get in on it! :D
