Kupek & Faux Photos Present: Awkward Songz (Remastered)
Awkward Songz is now available as direct mp3 downloads.

Awkward Songz is a split album that I did with my friend Jacob (aka Faux Photos) between 2003 and 2005-ish. I recently remastered all the tracks to try and make them less toxic to the ears. It's still not the best thing ever, but it's got some decent moments. In the course of remastering I also trimmed the length of some songs and added two "bonus" tracks.

(The story of the album is that it wasn't done but I accidentally deleted the working files so I had to release it as it was. At least with a few years of experience mixing songs I have corrected the sound slightly.)

If you just want to get one, I think my favourite song on the album is Jacob's "You Break My Art".

I will try to add the rest of my mp3s soonish.

Maybe tomorrow I'll talk about something else, less boring!

This is not boring at all. You and Jacob both make some awesome music. I've probably thanked you before, but I completely would not be surviving this year without you guys.

cool dude i had a dream last night that i had "Scott Pilgrim volume 4"
the front had Scott's head and the back ground was black...I could feel it too, it was weird but cool at the same time..
if you don't have a cover for the volume 4 yet you should put that as it and say this is dedicated to my far friend in the YUKON,
Cole Pauls

This is the perfect music for drawing comics to. Thanks for putting it up for us!
Also...people who try to second guess what you're going to write next = the original suck.

My favorite track on this album is "We are a Travelling People". Just the perfect amount of Jacob's quaint lyrics (I think quaint is the best word I can use to describe Jacob in general) and your production.

The new version sounds great. The best part is the new tags, so that Jacob won't erased from the face of the internet anymore.

This album = good times.
People are crazy and "Lydia" is clearly the rockenest tune to be had.
Would it be possible to get digital version of "Your so rad"? it's really my favorite song of yours, sadley my copy of "The Horrible ep" has deteriorated to the point that is cannot be read on my computers.

Oh, are we all naming favorites? "Antarctica Song," easily. But "Evelyn Everywhere" is high up there...

But hey, "Robotsong" is pretty rockin' - it's not in the lyric sheet and it's not on Jacob's Myspace - is there anywhere to get the lyrics? I'm way too lazy to, like, transcribe them myself.
