post tropical storm alberto!

that A-storm is hitting us now. A big branch fell off one of our trees while we weren't watching. the cats want to go out and play, but they're not allowed. good thing we got the lawn mowed yesterday!

But how the hell would you manage to make a dog stay in a yard like that, it looks like the fence is full of gaps.

It was (somewhat) fucking crazy out here! The internet said there was an Alberto warning for Hants County, and that the rest of the province wouldn't be so bad.

We only had about 2 minutes of power outage, though.

we had a big, nasty bit of rain hit here the other night. it rained uber-heavy for about an hour or so, and i heard about three or four fire trucks and ambulances drive past my fiancee's house. i dunno if it's part of the same storm, but i hope you guys are all okay.
